Questions

Common questions.

Does Apex One hold my crypto?

No. Your recovery phrase is generated on your device and stored there, encrypted. We have no copy of it and no ability to access, move, freeze or recover your funds.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password. You create a wallet on the device and that is the whole process.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Install Apex One on a new device and restore using your twelve-word recovery phrase. Your funds live on the Solana network, not on the phone — the phone only holds the key.

What if I lose my recovery phrase?

The wallet cannot be recovered. This is a consequence of nobody else holding your key, and it applies to every non-custodial wallet. Write the phrase down on paper when the app shows it to you, and keep it somewhere safe.

Does Apex One charge fees?

The app is free to download and use. Solana charges a small network fee per transaction, usually a fraction of a cent, which goes to the network rather than to us. Any Apex One fee on a swap is shown before you confirm.

What data do you collect?

No account details, because there is no account. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is and isn’t collected.

Can I import an existing wallet?

Yes. You can import an existing twelve or twenty-four word recovery phrase from another Solana wallet during setup.

How do I delete my data?

Remove the wallet in Settings, or delete the app — both erase the encrypted key material and all local data from your device. See the privacy policy for detail.

Is Apex One safe to use?

Your keys never leave your device, and every transaction is checked and explained before you approve it. No third-party security audit has been completed yet, which we state plainly rather than leaving out. Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose money.

Which networks does it support?

Solana only. Other networks are planned but not shipped, and we won’t list them until they work.
